Joseph Coraci

Joseph V. Coraci is an attorney with Estate Planning Legal Services, P.C. A lifelong native of the Detroit Metropolitan area, Joe graduated from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Finance. Joe received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2001.

During and immediately following law school, Joe was employed by a general practice firm, although the majority of his focus was in the areas of Probate and Estate planning where he spent a significant amount of time in the Wayne, Oakland and Macomb County Probate Courts.

In early 2003, Joe realized that rather than waiting for problems to occur in probate court, his time would be better spent creating plans for his clients motivated by the common goals of avoiding probate court, maintaining control, mitigating Estate Taxes, and altogether making the administration of an estate easier on the people who would be left with such a daunting task. To further this goal, Joe joined a mid-sized firm with one of the largest estate planning departments in Michigan, to concentrate exclusively on proactive estate planning in order to work with clients to avert problems before they happen. Over the 8 plus years Joe spent with this firm, he trained many of the attorneys as they were hired and for a time served as the manager of the firm’s entire estate planning department.

Joe joined Estate Planning Legal Services, P.C. in May of 2011 were he plans to continue meeting with clients and designing estate plans to accomplish their goals however simple or complex they may be. Joe has prepared over 1000 estate plans during his career and is a member of both the Probate and Estate Planning section of the State Bar of Michigan. Joe's license number is P63778.
